‍In this series, Dai Scheffer explores how identity emerges in relation to the other. Bodies touch, mirror, hold, and release. The images don’t tell a story — they hold a tension: between control and surrender, closeness and estrangement, contact and withdrawal.

Here, skin is not the boundary of the body, but the site of connection. In each composition, something arises between people — something that belongs to neither alone, but exists only in relation.
Dai Scheffer makes tangible how charged and fragile that space is: physically, emotionally, existentially.
